Oh! If!

If I Could fly, like my thought, If wishes could be bought,
If happiness could be sought, I'd be there beside your hand.
If wishes could be real, If time could be stopped,
If the past could unwind, I'd be there beside your hand.

Dear, Oh! Dear, As it is unfeasible,
And hopes and wishes, unbreakable,
Hope my hope will see me through,
To spend my last days with You.

If words hadn't been said, If tears hadn't been shed,
If the truth had been said, I'd be there beside your hand.
If actions had been right, If love was in the sight,
If the had felt alright, I'd be there beside your hand.

Dear, Oh! Dear, As it is impractical,
But hopes and wishes, unbreakable,
Hope my hope will see me through,
To spend my last days with You.

Let me hope that, the wrongs will be made right,
The darkness made bright, And I get,
To spend my last days with You.
Hope my hope will see me through,
To spend my last days with You.

Rain

You cry for it, you loathe it,
Bringing in equal measure, the extremes,
It's for you to decide, how it does fit,
The joy you get, or, might be mires.
When it comes, dull and gloomy,
You don't forsee the joy,
The lushness it spreads, all greeny,
The gloom is just a ploy.
What we eat, what we get,
The rain decides. The One above decides.
The just reward for the farmer's sweat,
His joy in us he confides.
Let's take the break it gives,
From the heat, the monotony, the despair,
Let's give thanks, nature thrives,
With it swells, the indulgence, I Swear.
Come on smile, the trouble's for now,
Rains will come, to the heat, don't cow.
